Consultant Joint Replacement, Orthopedic Surgeon & Sports Medicine Specialist 

After completing MBBS from Government medical college, Thiruvanthapuram, Dr Prakash did postgraduation in Orthopedics from King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai popularly known among PG students as the Mecca of Orthopedics in India. After completing MS he joined the Trauma Center of Mumbai- Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Sion Hospital and is trained in Advanced Principles of Fracture Management (AO Trauma-Switzerland). He later followed his interest in Joint Replacement and completed Fellowship in Computer assisted Navigation Joint Replacement Surgery under Padma Bhushan Dr Nandu Laud & Dr Harish Bhende at Center for Joint Replacement Surgery-Laud Clinic Mumbai. He completed his further training in Arthroscopy (Key-hole Surgery) & Sports Medicine under renowned Dr David Rajan at Ortho One, Coimbatore. 

 Dr Prakash later continued his training overseas at one of EUROPE's most high volume Joint Replacement Center at the ENDO-Klinic at Hamburg Germany. He completed clinical Fellowship in Robotic Hip and Knee Replacement , Complex Primary & Revision Joint Replacement surgery at renowned ENDO-Klinic Hamburg Germany. He also completed Fellowship in Anatomic and Reverse Shoulder Replacement Surgery from ENDO-Klinic Hamburg Germany. Dr Prakash also did Fellowship in Arthroscopy ,Osteotomy and Deformity correction from Germany under Dr Steffan Schroter.

 Dr Prakash is also a sports enthusiast and was a member of Football & Badminton Medical college team and speaks fluent English, Malayalam, Hindi & Marathi.
